We manufacture High Strength 'Quenched & Self Tempered' rebars (QST, called TMT in India). The technology we employ for the TMT (Quenching box) is German-based EVCON-TURBO and our range of sizes vary from 8mm to 40mm (8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 25, 28, 32, 36, and 40) in grades of Fe 415, 500 and 550.

G.P. Ispat. Pvt. Ltd. adapted the EVCON-TURBO a German based Technology for Manufacture of international quality rebars because this is the first choice all over the world. Directly after the last rolling mill stand, the steel bar surface receives a short intensive water cooling as it passes through the System. The rapid temperature reduction of the bar periphery converts the surface layer of steel bar to a hardened structure.
On leaving the pipe, the intensive quenching is followed by further cooling in atmosphere, so that the temperature between the hot core and the outer cooled surface is equalized – the surface layer gets tempered from the heat of the core. The resultant structure is a tempered Marten site zone at the periphery and a fine grain ferrite-pearlite structure in the central zone. Due to this unique and precise technology, Buland rebar’s have all the desired properties of high strength, good toughness and ductility.
